Philip studied Architecture at Northumbria University, graduating in 2018, and completed his Master’s degree at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in 2023. His final year project focused on using adaptable structures to activate underutilised urban sites. By skilfully combining 3D digital modelling with hand-drawn overlays, Philip explores physical attributes like light while adding a dynamic layer of human activity, enriching his proposals.
Before joining NVDC in January 2025, Philip gained valuable experience at Do+Co Architects and Architype, where he worked across both housing and community projects. Following his Master’s degree, he further expanded his expertise at Cameron Webster Architects, where he contributed to several residential projects, guiding them from initial sketches to final production.
Outside of work, Philip’s creativity extends to painting, and he enjoys walking and exploring the countryside, drawing inspiration from nature for his architectural designs.
